MUBI: Stream Great Cinema App Reviews

A lot of movie classics for good price. Films are often with Polish subtitles, but usually only new. I would wanna see "the seventh seal" in my language, sadly there is not. Buffering is also very problematic comparing to Netflix. But over all its really nice video service.

A must-have-tool for whoever likes movies and film history. Much better than any other Internet platform out there. The only problem is that is IP address based, therefore according to where you are and for which country you go online, youll find that not all the films are watchable everywhere. This has to do with the rights market of the films. Blame the sales agents of the film industry for that.

Please, add Mubi Social in the app, without having to switch to the browser!

Italian subtitles needed!

Fantastic idea, a selection of good movies, plenty to watch, lots of movies not easy to find. App works smoothly and very well. My only criticism is that there are very few, almost no, recent feature length movies. Most movies are classic or shorts but i think there should more good quality recent movies. Then it will be definitely 5 star.

As a satisfied Mubi subscriber, I hope you can fix the bug that prevents the App to be downloadable on older iPhones 3Gs. Ive seen it run on a friends newer device and Id eagerly give it 5 stars based on that - but it just wont download onto mine.

Finally a service focusing on content quality instead of quantity. Ive used it a month and already discovered a lot of great movies I would have not known about. No need to spend hours browsing through endless mediocre stuff, only 30 titles, most of which are worth watching. The ability do download for offline viewing is great, as I do most of my watching while traveling. The app itself is not perfect but it does what it should. Good job.

Its an all around fantastic idea and great app, especially for those of us who love movies and have so many to discover. If I had to request one thing, it would be a search function...unless I just dont know where it is. Otherwise, its a solid app and Im glad I downloaded it!

I watch movies all the time and MUBI has become my favorite platform. Before I used Netflix and Amazon, but this are full of junk. MUBI´s app is beautifully designed, with a great interface. You can download movies, navigate with no problems and what´s better, movies are amazingly good! If you´re a cinephile, this is your platform.
