This app is great value for what it has to offer. Try it with your Apple TV and you wont regret it.

This service gives you thirty movies, specifically curated, with a new movie every day and the oldest movie dropping out. That might not work for everyone, but its easier to sort through and the films are largely amazing, especially if youre a cinephile. The app is really beautifully designed, and the streaming quality is great. Highly recommended.
A great alternative to Netflix! Beautiful app.
Blank screen really, shows nothing at all.
Visually slick and beautiful. Great content.
I cant get past the load screen. IOS8 on iPhone 5C. Fix it please!
If you love daring cinema from all over the world, this is the one.
Awesome way to feed your brain, and your soul. The curation done by MUBIs people is wonderful so far.. :)
Awesome
Like many other video content streaming apps, being in Canada gives you an "alternate selection" of films. In others words, second rate replacements. The movies listed in the daily bulletin are far more interesting than the ones that appear in the app listing in Canada. Sorry MUBI, its a great app but not worth my time nor money.
Just a ruse to get the first month payment and then the app fails see jundun you cancel and they keep the money. Im going to start writing these apps too since Apple doesnt care if they help take your money
Really enjoying the curated aspect of the app. The app design is simple and intuitive. Nice work!
Pretty easy to use, It is a great app for the non-commercial and classic movie lovers. They need to keep updating the movies in order for it to be succesful.
If you are into film this is the way to go. Being curated it forces you to see more than you usually would. Well worth the subscription.
OMG, so much better than Netflix (and cheaper too)! Hopefully the are working on the app for the new Apple TV.
When I first began to use Mubi I was impressed by the curated selection but found watching on a relatively small window set into a larger (white bg) window less than satisfactory, and when I expanded to full screen and HD the streaming got choppy. It is better now, and more films are available in HD, and now that I have an iPad I can actually watch the film full screen and not feel "cramped" or I can use AirPlay to view the films on my tv. I like the eclectic selections, and the way I have a new film, replacing the oldest one (by month), daily. Its actually more like a film festival. If you like foreign, independent, and some old films, I suggest giving Mubi a try. MORE: I guess Ive had this a year, has it really been 12 months in, anyway I am renewing for another year. Big Man Japan: look it up. The selection is eclectic and ever-changing. Frankly, having used Netflix, iTunes movies and Mubi in rotation, I prefer the choices Mubi has.
Got a free month through Filmspotting and immediately signed on for the year. I love checking what the new movie selection is each morning, and getting to catch up with a much wider variety of under-the-radar, foreign, silent, and short films than Id otherwise likely get to watch. The apps are all great, especially if you already have a Chromecast to stream to your TV. Highly recommended!
After working seamlessly for a couple of months I confidently took the year subscription and was looking forward to the array of interesting films. Alas the site has developed some bugs: namely the quality selection option seems to be misfiring and gbs are piling up in the app even when downloads are unsuccessful, which sad to say is most of the time, at the time of this writing. And the only way to free the app of its heavy load is to delete and reinstall. Simply deleting the download appears to have no affect. Clearly there are problems to solve...
Its a different idea, the changing titles. Some, its true, Id pay not to see but there is enough there to keep me going and unlike Netflix you can download for offline viewing.
Ipod 5s is crashed down!!!
