Like the service. Will give it 5 stars when its native on the Apple TV just released. Honestly we will use it more -- and probably keep the Mubi service forever if they get that done. Would much prefer a native app on Apple TV instead of setting up AirPlay.

Amazing app, now that the glitches have been fixed (from IOS9), Ive gotten back to being impressed by the thoughtful and interesting movies that are selected. Way better than Netflix for those who want quality over quantity.

The interface is a breeze to use, but content is King, and this app has it. The movie selection is choice. I couldnt be happier I discovered this gem.

Reeeeally needs a resume feature, guys. And the iPad app flips the screen upside down without cause. Too early for a review, so put a leash on those review nag screens, ok?

I like the programming on mubi but the app consistently crashes immediately after opening it. I guess Ill have to be content with watching on my laptop because this app is essentially worthless to me at the moment.

Thank you MUBI. The new version of the app is great! Super smooth and responsive! AirPlay now works likes charm and I love that you can choose the file size and quality when downloading films for offline viewing! Great job :)

For over the last 4 days I have been unable to load any movie on mubi, I have lost the opportunity to watch at least 2 titles that I know were expiring over the last 3 days due to this.

Netflixs automated suggestion engine would show me 1) movies I had already seen, 2) movies I did not want to watch. This group, by using old-fashion human intermediaries, hand-picked 1) 30 movies I had never seen, 2) 10 of which looked immediately interesting. Equally refreshing was the fact that I did not have to create yet another online account. MUBI uses Apples in-app subscriptions. In about five clicks, I was on my way… A total winner.

Nice simple layout, but could really use a resume feature (without making me hunt for the movie I havent finished). Good variety of films, and excellent bite size notes.

You can subscribe for five bucks. I havent myself, and have only been checking in once a day to download the film of the day for free. That feature itself is great enough for me. Cool selection. Whoever is curating this is awesome.

Watch out!! Its impossible to cancel the automatic subscription. I only opened it to watch one movie and I have been paying for 4 months and it is just impossible to cancel the subscription.

This is a wonderful service at a great price.

I considered myself pretty "well-viewed" when it came to the art of Cinema (capital C); but Mubi has opened windows and doors to whole worlds I didnt even know existed. Mubi is the greatest curator of cinematic art online, maybe offline too.
